This story is about how a town reacts after three planes crashing into their town, inspired by real events that happened in Elizabeth, New Jersey when Judy Blume was growing up, yet the book is an entire work of fiction. The story focuses mainly on one character Miri, and her life as a young girl while also dealing with these tragedies just being a young girl, of boys and friendships. I was at first put off by the amount of characters, and narrators that the story had as someone who is terrible with names. Yet the first few sentences easily clued you in to who was speaking. I ended up enjoying the many different stories and characters; it gave a nice variation on an already interesting story.
